Casa Co'lel Luna (Lady Moon House) is a spacious 5-bedroom, 5-bath home located in the gated community of Playacar, just 1 minute from our lovely sandy beach and turquoise Caribbean Sea. It's just a 5 or 10 minute stroll to 5th Avenue and downtown Playa as well as the ferry to Cozumel. At Casa Co'lel Luna you can relax in your hammock and enjoy the cooling breeze and stunning views of ocean, sky, trees and your next-door neighbor--the ancient Mayan ruin of Xaman Ha. Green lawns, bright flowers and tall, shady trees surround Casa Co'lel Luna.The villa shares a wonderful pool, complete with waterfalls and two shallow play-pools, with our neighboring house, Casa Balam y T'ul.
Casa Co'lel Luna offers many amenities, including satellite TV, VCR or DVD, stereo, high-speed/wireless Internet connection, all kitchen appliances (including microwave), washer & dryer, and wheelchair accessibility on the ground floor. All rooms have terraces and are cooled by ocean breezes and ceiling fans. Three bedrooms are air conditioned. Maid service is provided 3 days a week (or more on request). Our manager speaks English; she is also available to cook you a gourmet Mexican meal. (See below for complete amenities list)

The dining area and kitchen are spacious and can accommodate large groups. Up to ten people can be comfortably seated at the table and counter. |

The comfortable living room is perfect for relaxing or socializing. The built-in L-shaped sofa can accommodate two readers (or snoozers). We have satellite TV, VCR, stereo, and lots of books to read. |

The Sunflower Room ("Girasol") is located on the ground floor and is wheelchair accessible. Fully air-conditioned, the suite has a queen bed, dressing area and full bath with tub and shower. |

The spacious master suite (called "The Mermaid Room" or "Sirena") has a king bed and a beautiful view of the Xaman-Ha ruins. It opens to a large covered terrace with hammocks, built-in sofas, and ocean breezes. The bathroom is tiled in colors of the sea and features a spacious tub and shower with great views.

Our "penthouse suite" ("Estrella del Mar") consists of two spacious rooms, a large terrace, and a very unusual bathroom (at right)--all with wonderful views of the turquoise Caribbean Sea. |
