Aloha Maya

     Aloha Maya is a luxury 2+ bedroom, 2 bath condominium (sleeps 4-6) located in the beautiful new "Condominios m.a.r." project. These units are ideally situated between the Playacar Aviary and the Xaman Ha ruins in the gated community known as Playacar, Phase 2. The location is ideal; it is the closest you can be to town and the beach in Phase 2: a 5-minute walk to the south end of 5th Avenue and a 2-minute walk to the beach. (The condo is also just a 1-minute walk from our villas). The beautiful new project, comprised of just 20 units, was completed in December 2004.      m.a.r. is a small, elegant complex set in a beautiful tropical garden. Many of the natural characteristics of the land have been preserved, including shade trees, limestone rock formations, and a crystalline cenote, a natural pool connected to the area’s famous underground river system. There is also a separate swimming pool with a large shallow area ideal for small children. The apartment itself is very spacious, with about 1800 square feet of space comprised of a large living-dining-kitchen area, a spacious den/alcove off the living area, 2 bedrooms, 2 baths and a laundry room. The bedrooms have king beds, and there is a double futon in the den/alcove (which can be curtained off for privacy). Floor-to-ceiling glass doors lead to a garden terrace overlooking the cenote and pool. The apartment is slightly above ground level, and the large picture windows afford the advantages of the breezes, natural light, and garden views.

      The finest materials have been used--marble for the floors and baths, fine hardwoods for the doors and counters, contemporary Italian plumbing fixtures, and elegant lighting. All rooms have ceiling fans and there is central air conditioning as well. Other amenities include satellite TV with music channels, DVD/CD player, telephone, washer/dryer, microwave, coffee maker, blender, and bed and bath linens as well as beach towels. Fresh drinking water is delivered as needed. Access from the parking area is by stairs or elevator (6 steps to elevator).

     Our friendly, helpful staff will make your stay even more enjoyable. The security staff is attentive and on the job 24 hours a day. Housekeeping is provided 3 times/week (or more on request for a small charge). Our manager, Esperanza, is attentive and helpful and speaks English; she is also an excellent cook. We will do everything we can to make your sojourn on the Riviera Maya a memorable and joyful experience.
